    Position Overview:
    The Appliance Repair Tech is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service abilities to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Diagnosis and Repair:

      • Inspect and troubleshoot appliances to identify issues.

      • Perform repairs and replace parts as necessary.

      • Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with safety standards.

    • Maintenance and Installation:

      • Conduct routine maintenance on appliances to prevent future issues.

      • Install new appliances, ensuring proper setup and functionality.

    • Customer Service:

      • Communicate clearly with customers to explain problems and solutions, including transparent pricing.

      • Provide exceptional service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.

    • Documentation:

      • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used using online software.

      • Complete necessary paperwork and update service logs.

    • Inventory Management:

      • Monitor and manage inventory of repair parts and tools.

      • Order parts as needed to ensure timely repairs.

    • Compliance:

      • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

      • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in appliance repair is a plus.

    • Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or similar mechanical role.

    • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to appliances.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer-service oriented.

    • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and move heavy appliances (up to 80 lbs).

    • Comfortable working in residential homes.
